Hootsuite Review: 7 Features You Need to Use

Hootsuite, in my opinion is the best social media dashboard. I have been using Hootsuite for a number of years now and cannot recommend it enough for so many great reasons. Here are 7 features you need to use for Hootsuite.

  1. Hootfeed Live Twitter Streams

Hootfeed is a relatively new functionality that allows you to promote your social media activity on large screens at a conference or meeting. You can customise the content that will be displayed.

  1. Hootsuite Tabs

Hootsuite tabs is all about organisation. If you want to effectively organise your content, use Hootsuite tabs. You can have as many tabs as you want e.g. based on the different accounts you have integrated.

  1. Hootsuite Publisher

Hootsuite publisher is more than just scheduling posts from one place. You can schedule posts from hootsuite, hootlet or via an uploaded .csv file. This is a great feature if you are on the go or work in a team and need different posting outlets.

  1. Geosearch

Did you know that you can use Hootsuite to define a specific area to target? You will need the coordinates of where you are based (from google) and then you will be able to set up your geo-search.

  1. Monitor Social Conversations using Hootsuite Apps

You can plug in a wide range of apps from different social networks to monitor social conversations online. Keeping an eye on this will help you reach your target market in a more strategic way.

  1. Filtered Streams

A stream is a way in which Hootsuite displays its content and this can be filtered so that you are only seeing what you want to see based on keywords or phrases.

  1. Hootlet

Hootlet is a great Google Chrome Browser extension which allows you to quickly and easily share information across all of your connected social networks.

What is your favourite Hootsuite tool?
